It couldn't be religion. Could it?

Rangers fans have found themselves asking why Celtic want to see the back of them for good. Could it be because they are our biggest rivals? Could it be because the club and the fans have brought shame upon Scottish football? There are many reasons but the next post explores one that reason that is just ridiculous. The post on 30.04.12 at 11.13 called 'For those who think we are just a football club' asks -

**Could you tell me/explain to me why that shower of RC/IRA sympathising filth
   across the city are so keen to bury us?
   I mean it couldn't possibly be on religious grounds, could it?**

**They are the only overtly religious/political club that I can think of, even if they were
   playing in Ireland they'd still find things to kick off about.**

**They seem to hate us more than they like their own, they are obsessed with The
   Rangers as we are the standard to which other lesser clubs try to emulate!**

**Of course it is for religious/culural grounds.
   Anyone saying it's due to 'normal football banter' is deluded or at it.**

**We're more than a club. We are a people, a way of life, a religion.
   Too many on here have thrown in the towel when we should be prepared to fight
   and die for what we believe in - The Rangers.
   This isn't about football, it's a religios war being waged against the Protestant faith.
   Stand up and fight for Rangers, don't let these bastards win!**

**Supporters of Celtic are delusional, brainwashed and, when they get together,
   dangerous. They took football rivalry and poisoned it.
   They don't attack us because of OUR religion. Rangers Football Club has no
   religious affiliation. They attack us because of THEIR religion. Celtic can never stop
   banging on about their Irish Catholic heritage.**

Truly pathetic.

One of the team who contributes here at FFF is protestant and he sure as hell wants Rangers to die just as much as the next Celtic fan so that throws that theory out the window you silly Billy.
