Ally must stay.

We have been saying for some time now that Ally McCoist is only still in a job because of everything that has gone on at The Rangers over the past year. He has proved time after time that he can't get things right. Fair enough, he is still learning as a manager but after the guidance of Walter Smith for a couple of seasons and a drop in to the 3rd division, The Rangers should really be brushing aside every team that they play in the league.

Are the The Rangers fans finally starting to agree?

A post from 26.08.12 at 15.40 called 'When will the penny finally drop?' says -

**The manager can't cut the mustard.**

Very much to the point. The thread has been closed now for some reason but we did get to see some replies -

**I am concerned you may be correct.**

**
Dropped with me after last years european debacles**

**I'll give him until after the transfer window**

**it wont....
   you are either a :
   ally hater
   a drama queen
   or
never wanted him in the role
at least thats what people are told when questioning him.
quite simply anyone who plays lee mcculloch in central midfield should not
be anywhere near a football dugout
what ally, and his two chums, do in terms of tactics is beyond me....
**

**The only consistency that Super has is his tactical ineptitude for 13 months
   solid.
**

**If he can't develop a side with a philosophy of pass and move with superior
full time players playing against part time footballers then he will have to
   step aside.
   Improvement needed and very quickly.
**

**The penny dropped for me when we were booted out of Europe by two pub
   teams.
**

**
How much time does he need FFS?
He's not learned in 13 months and you want to give him more time!
**

**Every single aspect of our play has deteriorated under Ally.
**

**
I said last season that Ally was turning into a modern day version of John
Greig and would hate for the support to turn on him, if we keep playing like
this I fear this might happen
**

It looks like it already is happening Billy.

**I think it is fairly clear that he doesn't have 'it' as a manager....that 'X Factor'
   that sets good managers apart.
He is a great guy, a legend and passionate but there is no concept, no plan,
no real shape, no recruitment policy that can be seen....the players are not
prepared, motivated or 'up for it' and have no real tactical shape.
**

**
I think we know he's not up to it. He's hapless, hopeless, gormless,
clueless, out of his depth, indecisive and incapable of inspiring the players.
I love the guy, but he's clearly not a Rangers manager.
**

Maybe he should do walking away?

**The throwing away of an extra ten points last season when he should have fired up the players to gain ground was also a worry
**

**
Folk who want Ally to go this early know nothing about football.**

Really?

**
Malmo
   Maribor
   Falkirk
These performances we are seeing are not a blip, they are what they are.
   A regular occurence.
I have lost count of the amount of teams that frequently outplay us.
   Even at Ibrox.
**

**
Ally thanks for everything but u need to go now, that performance is totally
   uncceptable
**

**
Ian holloway is the man , gets players playing for him n football is good to
watch , surely the rangers are a bigger club than blackpool
**

Oh yes, months old The Rangers who are toiling at the bottom of Scottish football are a bigger club than Blackpool, a team who will be pushing for promotion to one of the biggest leagues in the world. #BillyLogic

**I fear the goodwill we rightly show to Ally the person will cloud our
   judgement on Ally the manager.
He has been a disappointment for us in footballing terms.
**

**
Malmo, Maribor, Falkirk, Dundee Utd, Brechin City.....7 cup games against
inferior opposition and not 1 victory in 90 mins.
It took him 8 games to finally get a cup victory, last week v the mighty
   Falkirk.
Do you consider that good enough?**

For a 3rd division team, yes.

**Every one of these spoilt, useless c#nts disgraced The Gers today.
When these tubes are training at Auchenhowie then driving home in their
4X4s to play snooker or their X Boxes, players at clubs like Berwick are
working at full time jobs. then training at night. Ally has to take a large part
of the responsibility for their attitude. It stinks.
   Utterly disgraceful.
**

Ally must stay.
