It's a bad day

The Rangers are going through a terrible time of it at the moment. Unsure of the future, not knowing which league they'll be playing in next season if they are even playing at all, not sure if their beloved Ibrox will be sold to a property developer etc etc yada yada yada. Surely though it is a bad day when you start a post on Follow Follow about begging Nacho Novo to return to The Rangers.

The post on 28.06.12 at 10.52 called 'Novo' says -

**Is it time to approach nacho and beg him to return on a pittance of a wage?
Surely if theres anyone out there that would love a return to rangers its him!
Pretty sure he is without a club
   #nachocomehome
**

Oh dear, when reading this we expected Billy's to mock such a post claiming that he is just 'a wee badge kisser' and that he is in fact useless and would be better off working in a tapas restaurant in Gijon. But no -

**i would in a heartbeat
**

**
get him signed.
**

**Please come home Nacho Novo!
**

**
lets get this trending on twtter and pounding his own page
   #nachocomehome
**

**
Yes, Yes and Yes again.
**

**
This is a no brainer.
Even at the tail end of their careers, McCulloch and Novo up front would
walk the SPL, never mind the rest of the divisions.
**

**
I would take Novo back in a heartbeat and also say bring back Barry
   Ferguson.
**

**Novo ang jig up front, leading the charge back to the top
**

**
and rino gatusso**

Oops.

They don't like Alex Thomson

Most people will have seen the GIF of the statue outside Ibrox with a speech bubble saying ''We don't do walking away'', the statue then jumps off it's stand and walks away.

Alex Thomson the c4 journalist posted a link to this GIF yesterday with the quote 'This should amuse all fans of all colours who've a sense of humour' clearly meaning it as a bit of fun and what did the The Rangers fans do they immediately assumed he was mocking the Ibrox disaster. In our opinion this is a very petty way of the The Rangers fans attempting to get Mr Thomson in to a spot of bother by using such a touchy subject as ammo.

A post on 26.06.12 at 10.25 called 'Alex Thomson Mocks Ibrox Disaster' says -

**Just posted a picture of the memorial statue with a speech bubble coming
from the statue saying "we don't do walking away"
Surely something has to be done about this, how can someone in his
   position get away with that.
I'd post link but I'm on mobile.
**

***Angry/Petty/Typical Billy behaviour ALERT*****

**What a complete and utter scumbag
**

**
Bombard the bastard on twtter.

**What a scumbag surely a sacking offence**

**I`m ****ing astounded by this, sick, sick bastard & trying to dress it up as
   humour?
Save it tomo you ****ing throbber, you better not show your face near Ibrox
   again.
**

**i hope he dies a horrible death**

**To think the Syrians didn't waste that prick.
**

**
I'd like to think that when he meets a few bears down the line he won't be
walking away, vile scumbag who will get away with this.
**

**
Get this guy sacked. Its a disgrace.
As if we werent getting hammered enough!!
**

**
Right lads, time to end him.
   This is fucking disgusting.
**

**
IM SPEECHLESS
And I want ****in blood now, I have had enough! I am so in rage I have fkin
   tears in my eyes.
**

**
You dirty sick bastard Thomson.
You have sunk lower than I thought was possible. You vile evil c**t.
**

**
If this vile khunt of a man ends up on the wrong side of personal violence,
he only has himself to blame.
   Absolutely despicable.
**

**Hope his next trip to Syria is his last trip ever
**

**The rat prick should swing for this bile!!!!!!!!!!
**

**
THOMSON - MAY YOU ROT IN HELL YOU SICK BASTARD
**

Now just to clear something up. We are not in any way mocking the Ibrox Disaster, it was a tragedy and we would never wish such a horrible thing upon anyone. People can't behave in the way these Billy's are behaving and people certainly shouldn't be wishing death upon someone who is apparently mocking the dead. A pinch of irony anyone.

It's almost over

A post called 'I think we are just about done' from 26.06.12 at 21.13 sums up how most of Billyland must be feeling just now -

**
I never thought I would say this but the most recent events tonight,
following everything that we have been though makes me think our club is
   just about done.
Our "rangers men" have left us, no fans protests, no poker games,
no political pressure, bad owner after bad owner, SFA investigations,
sanctions, no league to play in and worst still, our rich Rangers supporters
   not stepping up!
How close are we to the abyss?
   My gut says days!!
   I'm totally devistated!!
**

**i'm starting to think this now too. Never been so gutted in all my life!
**

**
starting to feel as if we are in our death throes whilst everyone is putting the
   boot into our club
**

**
the events of the past few days and especially today makes me think we
could be finished, hate thinking that my 2 boys may never get the chance to
grow up being fellow Rangers supporters
**

They could always be Celtic fans. At least your grandchildren will be.

**I echo the thoughts here.
And I am cut to the bone at the thought of this.Devastated is not even
   close**

**I have a sickening feeling that we are finnished and will never recover.
There is a sense of hopelesness.
**

**
There's a part of me that wants to give up, yesterday I was nearly there but I
just can't do it. It's not in my make up.
I actually prayed last night, to whoever or whatever might listen.

#HurtingHuns

The #HurtingHuns hashtag has been floating about for a while now and this post surely sums it up.

A post from 26.06.12 at 21.04 called 'Absolutely Gutted' says
-

**It hasn't really sunk in yet with me the position we are in, I keep thinking
that something good is going to happen.
Reading on here tonight that all these players are leaving is making me feel
physically sick. I don't think I can take anymore of this.
Words can't describe how I'm feeling.
**
**I feel everything you are the now mate...gutted..
**

**Drained. Just ****in drained.
**

**
I'm feeling exactly the same way mate.
And to cap it all, I don't think we've hit the worst bit yet!
**

**
Ill echo those words.
   Simply Heartbroken.
**

**
cant believe this is actually happening, im fallen to peices
**

**
Heartbroken. Thats the word. Im trying to explain to my missus why im
nearly crying reading FF. She doesnt understand
**

**
Feel as if i've been hit by a bus totally numb feel sick heartbroken
**

**
Absolutely heartbroken!

We are done!!

No cunning plans no SOS no **** all 140yrs are disappearing before our
eyes and we have been failed from top to bottom!

Im ****in devastated tonight, ****in speechless that we have have been left to
the vultures to pick away our ****in bones, this was never about sporting
integrity it was about blind, venomous hatred for our club, it's people it's
traditions and Scotland has stood idly by and watched us die a death of a
   thousand cuts!

Darkest day in my Rangers supporting life, I'm numb!**

**
I feel my insides are being ripped apart
the past 4 months have taken there toll on me
iam totally empty run down and exhausted**

Isn't it just delightful reading this kind of stuff. Long may the #HurtingHuns continue.

Feeling the lurve for Sir Moonbeams

A post on 26.06.12 at 21.06 called ''Sir' David' says -

**Hi
I hope you know what every Rangers fan is now waiting for.
Tick, tick, tick. Yes, we need some good news and MIH being hit for £300m
in EBT liability is not quite enough....no, professional and personal ruin is
   not enough now.
We need somewhere to 'water the plants' after all.
   Cheers
**

These fans really are a friendly bunch eh.

**Die you bastard
   just do it
**

**
If there is any such thing as karma, then this piece of shit will end up a
bedraggled, skint, homeless jakey raking in bins for scraps to survive on
**

**
tick tock your bastard**

**I hope you die a painful death ya cuunt.
**

**Hope the ***er dies of cold begging on the streets
**

**
Sir David, I hope you are publicly humiliated, I hope you are stripped of your
knighthood, I hope your business empire crumbles before your very eyes,
I hope you are sentenced to hard time behind bars, I hope you live the rest
of your life in agonising pain and finally I hope your final thoughts when you
depart this f.uckin mudball are of Rangers and what you have done.
**

**
Death is too good for that B@stard**

It is a new club. Accept it

Why are the The Rangers fans finding it so hard to accept that they no longer have the history that they once had, they no longer have the records that they once loved and they definitely don't have the same vile club that they love so much.
A post from 24.06.12 at 17.38 called 'Naisy, Whittaker, Walter calling it a new club'
says -

**
Just read the statements from Naismith and Whittaker calling Rangers a
   new club.
This echoed the similarly strange comment made from Walter when Walter
   pulled his bid.
Why are these Rangers men calling it a new club???
Seriously, do they have some subtle reason for it?
Naisy's statement mentioned "new" twice at the end---
I refuse to believe he's twisting the dagger! He is simply Rangers through
   and through.
**

Perhaps they're calling it a new club because it is a new club Billy. Doh.

**I don't understand it either!
As long as we Beleive it's the same club, nothing else matters!
**

Wrong.

**
You can put Gough on that list as well.
Hinting heavily that it's a new club.
Why do they feel the need?
**

Acceptance is a major part of the grief process. Maybe you aren't there yet.

**
you could understand it if it was coming from tarriers, or the mhedia or
whomever, but coming from rangers men it's not the nicest thing to hear.
**

**
It feels as if the players who came out with the statements earlier & Walter
are basically saying it's not Rangers anymore, fucking off & just leaving us
   fans behind...
**

**They have all let us down with their shameful actions and statements.**

Exactly Billy. How dare they put themselves and their career before a failing club that may not even be playing competitive football next season.
Shame on them.

Is the situation affecting your personal life?

A post from 21.06.12 at 22.10 called 'Affecting our personal lives' says -

**
I don't know about the rest of you, but I feel as if my life has been completely
turned upside down over the last four months. I breathe, eat, dream (well
   more like nightmares) Rangers.
I've learned words and phrases I would never have dreamt of knowing,
gained a huge understanding of financial and business matters that
normally I wouldn't give a sh*t about, and yet still don't have a feckin' clue
   what they mean.

I've always been passionate about our beloved club since my first match at
the age of two, but there was always the ability to switch off and focus on
   family, work etc. No more!!
It has affected everything in my life, and my families.
We argue, are moody, been in tears, can't sleep, lost appetities, are bloody
addicted to the internet!! Every night I go to bed swearing that the next day
I'm not going near the computer, I need to take a break, and first thing the
next morning I'm logging on praying for good news.

When will it all end???
**

**I'm f***ed mate.
It's exhausting and is affecting me.
What can we do though? We can't let the club die?
**

Too late Billy, it's already dead.

**My anger and hatred has never burned so deep
My whole attitude to football in Scotland has changed forever
**

**I've been worried sick about it for months not getting any easier just hope
Walter Smith's consortium will own us very soon
**

Oops.

**
I'm in the same boat, snapping at everyone, shattered and not sleeping.
Raging and consider violence at everyone that even looks at me funny.
**

**It's a nightmare. I work from home but went into the office today for the first
time since the cva was rejected. I wasn't at my desk ten mins when three
individual ra sellick fans who I don't speak to came over asking how I felt
   etc.
They are like vultures feeding off a carcass it's sickening
**

**I haven't slept properly for months, missus keeps telling me to see a doc, i
get narky with her, im exhausted at work.
At times i would be happy just to fall asleep and wake when it's all over.
**

**It has made me realise that I despise most people in this country.**

 **
I nearly got thrown out of a vodafone store the day after going in with a
   complaint,again.
Its only a matter of time before i go off like a two bob rocket.
**

Heavy stuff.

**yeah its totally messed up with my head, can't be bothered with work and
when i am there i just get nippy with everybody, then i blow my top at the
mrs a few weeks ago when she turned round and said its only football i
   should pull myself together
**

**Getting **** all work done, snapping at people, road rage.
Shes pissed off cos im on the net 24/7 and no listening to her when she
   asks me something.
Boys I know that are tims I have just stopped txtn and phoning.
   No correspondance at all.
I now have an un-healthy hatred for most things non or anti-Rangers that
   was never there before.
   This could start getting ugly.
**

**Affecting it .......it's fecking destroying it.**

**The worst of it is, my hubby is computer illiterate so I have to pass all the
info back on to him. So just when I've calmed down a bit from reading
everything on FF and twitter, he comes in from work and my blood pressure
   goes sky high again!!
**

**For an easy going guy I now feel capable of extreme violence**

**wake up everyday gutted and shattered
**

Don't worry all you Silly Billy's out there, you aren't alone.

Celtic fans too have been affected by whats going on.

Symptoms include -

*Tiredness/Exhaustion (due to laughing)
*Crying (due to laughing)
*Fall outs with partners (due to persistant laughing)

If you would like to speak to anyone about these issues then don't hesitate to call
0871 226 1888.
