They don't like Alex Thomson

Most people will have seen the GIF of the statue outside Ibrox with a speech bubble saying ''We don't do walking away'', the statue then jumps off it's stand and walks away.

Alex Thomson the c4 journalist posted a link to this GIF yesterday with the quote 'This should amuse all fans of all colours who've a sense of humour' clearly meaning it as a bit of fun and what did the The Rangers fans do they immediately assumed he was mocking the Ibrox disaster. In our opinion this is a very petty way of the The Rangers fans attempting to get Mr Thomson in to a spot of bother by using such a touchy subject as ammo.

A post on 26.06.12 at 10.25 called 'Alex Thomson Mocks Ibrox Disaster' says -

Now just to clear something up. We are not in any way mocking the Ibrox Disaster, it was a tragedy and we would never wish such a horrible thing upon anyone. People can't behave in the way these Billy's are behaving and people certainly shouldn't be wishing death upon someone who is apparently mocking the dead. A pinch of irony anyone.
